Alfa Romeo has taken the colours of a racing yacht and put them on two cars. The 2027 Giulia and Stelvio Edizione Luna Rossa are a new special series, and Quebec shoppers can already see what sets them apart.
The story starts on the water in Napoli. It carries through carbon fibre, recycled fabric and a dedicated red logo, all the way to the cabin.
The America’s Cup Link Behind the Series

The Edizione Luna Rossa debuted in Napoli at the second Preliminary Regatta for the 2027 America’s Cup. It is the latest chapter in a collaboration between Alfa Romeo and the Luna Rossa sailing team that began in June 2025.
The partnership reaches past sponsorship. Alfa Romeo has shared its work in simulation, vehicle dynamics and virtual analysis with the Luna Rossa technical team. It is also fine-tuning the control software for the systems that move the boat’s sails. That software is tested first in the Luna Rossa simulator, then released for use on the real boat.
In Europe, the same collaboration produced the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, built in only ten units. The Edizione Luna Rossa is the version for Canada. It sits at the top of the offering for each model and will be marketed progressively.
What the Giulia and Stelvio Have in Common
Powertrain does not separate these two. The same all-aluminum, direct-injection turbocharged engine and Q4 all-wheel drive sit under both. Electronically controlled suspension and a Harman Kardon Hi-Fi audio system are standard on each.

The shared look comes from details that are easy to spot. Both models carry dedicated red Alfa Romeo logos, a carbon-fibre front badge, and carbon-fibre mirror caps with the Luna Rossa logo. Dark wheels and red brake calipers finish the performance look.
Inside, the cabin is monochrome. A Luna Rossa liner crosses the seats and Luna Rossa graphics mark the dashboard. Leather covers the dashboard and door panels, and carbon-fibre decoration runs across the dashboard, centre console and doors. A red Alfa Romeo logo sits on the steering wheel.
Giulia or Stelvio: Two Ways to Choose
The table shows the two real differences. Each one points to a different kind of buyer.
If you want the sportiest visual statement, the Giulia has it. Its side skirts and spoiler recall the styling of the Quadrifoglio version, a detail the Stelvio does not carry. Its 19-inch wheels pair with a standard electric sunroof, so the open-air option needs no extra decision.
If you want the biggest wheels in the series, the Stelvio’s 21-inch dark wheels are the larger of the two. Its sunroof is optional, which suits a buyer who wants to choose it or leave it off. Both models give you the same output and the same standard all-wheel drive, so the choice rests on look and layout.
Neither car is a step down from the other. They are two interpretations of one special series, each shaped around its own character.
What Matters to Shoppers Now
Because arrival is still ahead, this is the time to settle the choices that shape the build. Three come up first.
Colour. White is the standard finish on both cars. Black and Etna Red are optional extra-series colours, and the series palette takes its cues from Luna Rossa’s boats.
Materials. The interior pairs leather with a 100 per cent recycled ECONYL fabric, made from nylon recovered from fishing nets on the seabed. It is a material story you can see and touch on the seats.
Sunroof. This applies to the Stelvio only, since the Giulia includes one. Decide early whether you want the option.
Q4 all-wheel drive is standard on both cars, so Quebec drivers get the same traction whichever model they pick.
Arrival in Canada

The 2027 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Edizione Luna Rossa will arrive in Canada during the second quarter of 2027. The series will be marketed progressively across the country.
Choosing Your Edizione Luna Rossa
The Edizione Luna Rossa brings a real sailing partnership to the road. It adds carbon-fibre details, a monochrome cabin with recycled ECONYL fabric, and a 2.0 L turbo making 280 hp. The Giulia suits the driver who wants Quadrifoglio-style aero details. The Stelvio suits the driver who wants 21-inch wheels and the choice of a sunroof.
